    What are the product use-cases? Who will benefit from the solutions? How do the products fit among the habits and routines of applicable demographics? What are the available channels? What channels will most effectively reach the target audience? What is the budget? Asking the right questions, investigating all possible answers to those questions, and designing and executing the perfect communications plan is the trick to effective marketing. Execution involves analytics, progress reports, and communication plan adaptation.

    Properly communicating technical elements of emerging technologies requires a deep understanding of the applicable industry, an ability to condense research into accurate abstractions, fitting innovation into the larger picture, and extrapolating the various applications and use-cases of seemingly minor advancements or technical solutions. Language, structure, and flow are critical to maintaining reader interest in complex systems. I translated medical research for mass consumption for Nutrition Facts, and have written technical papers for cryptocurrency projects – most notably the Verox whitepaper.

Communities and official project chats facilitate a never-before-seen communication channel between investors and the team representing that respective project. Investors expect updates, engagement, and consistent information about the project they invested in. Furthermore, swarms of FUDsters scheming to push prices lower for cheaper buy-ins are always an imminent threat to positivity and community cohesion. Effective Community Management requires hiring the right people, designing communication strategies and plans, producing community content, scheduling and executing interviews and ama’s, encouraging positive conversation, and implementing games, contests, and exciting activities. Verox gave me experience managing an incredibly challenging community through difficulties, delays, constant FUD attacks, and extremely volatile market conditions. I have been forged through this 2-year fire, and maintained a core positive community with official updates as consistently as possible, managed an evolving moderation team, and enriched the conversation with media and activities.
